[No transmigration, no System] [Emperor, Empress Dowager, political intrigue] [Coming of age, romance] ["Foretelling the future"]
The late emperor died without a son, so Jiang Chengjin, the only son of Prince Yong, was adopted into the imperial family and made the new emperor.
On the day of his enthronement, the Grand Empress Dowager sat to his right and the Empress Dowager to his left, ruling from behind the curtain.
With three rulers at once, the ministers below were on the verge of collapse...
Just thirteen years old, Chengjin is a puppet emperor by convenience. The Empress Dowager toys with him time and again, while constantly sending people to his Zichen Palace. And, well, beauty knows no gender: she sends them all to him!
Who could have guessed that Chengjin, always thought weak and ignorant, would fall in love with Zhang Guifei, the prime minister’s daughter, and decide to fight back against the Empress Dowager?
Empress Dowager, you forcibly took the rare ancient book The Four Provinces: Records and Predictions from my father, Prince Yong. I’ll get it back, no matter what!
And I’ll take back the power at court, little by little!
Defy fate and change my destiny!
But who could have guessed that the Empress Dowager wouldn’t care about the emperor’s resistance at all? Everything was going according to her plan...
It's so beautiful, I love watching it, I watch it every day
