I Don't Need Those Ungrateful Father and Son

[Early flashbacks, later she takes down the scum. No fixed male lead. A power fantasy with a strong female lead, but there will be no shortage of men. She becomes the empress and builds a harem. The men are all hers for the taking. She will awaken to new powers later, so keep reading. You won't be disappointed! There's a bonus scene at the end, hahaha.]

"And what about me? What am I to you? Without me, could you have lived past fifteen and become emperor?"

"It's only the position of empress. Isn't it enough that I love you?"

Only later did Shen Wuxin realize that what they called love was nothing but using her, again and again.

She risked her life on the battlefield for this man, but while she was away on a campaign, he made another woman empress.

She fought to secure a bright future for her son, yet he called another woman Mother in her son's arms.

Shen Wuxin had no idea what all her years of sacrifice had been for. At last, the two of them cut off the only thing she had left to live for.

She set the Cold Palace ablaze!

Three years later, Shen Wuxin lived only for herself. Empress, empress dowager, none of that mattered. She wanted the supreme throne.

"When I spoke to you of love, you used me.

Now that I no longer love you, you want to talk about love? Hahaha!

Guards, take him away!"
