Siheyuan: I Used Sign-In to Land a Job in the Steel Mill Kitchen

After transmigrating to 1953, Li Lin discovers he has become a waiter at Fengzeyuan in the capital.

He thinks he has simply landed in the 1950s,

until he sees a man who is only eighteen but looks twenty-eight: Silly Zhu.

What else could this be but the world of Love in the Courtyard?

[Congratulations, Host! You have finished exploring the world. The sign-in System is now bound to you. Target: He Yuzhu! Conditions met. Sign in now?]

A sign-in System?

[Sign-in successful. You have obtained Master Chef skills!]

Wait, Master Chef skills?

Isn’t that moral paragon Yi Zhonghai making a special trip to Fengzeyuan to tell Silly Zhu that the steel mill is hiring kitchen staff?

Here’s my chance!

There’s only one opening?

Well, sorry about that!

Silly Zhu, that spot is mine now!

…

It is now 1953.

This year, Jia Dongxu has just gotten married, and Banggeng hasn’t been born yet.

This year, Xu Damao is still a clueless young man, much like Banggeng.

This year, Lou Xiao'e is still a student in her teens.

This year, Qin Huairu is still the breathtaking “Thirteenth Aunt.”

This year, Yi Zhonghai is still hoping Jia Dongxu will support him in his old age…

Everything is only just beginning to take shape.

By signing in again and again, Li Lin becomes a legend in the courtyard, watched with envy by all its troublemakers.
