The Zhe family moved to Fugu in the early Tang Dynasty and lasted for more than 500 years from the Five Dynasties to the late Song Dynasty. Most of its descendants are skilled in martial arts, leaping horses and bending bows. For generations, they have led people up and down the river and inside and outside the Great Wall in the windswept, barren and desolate corner of northern Shaanxi. In order to resist the attacks of foreign nations, they fought successively, shed blood and sacrificed their lives, and made great contributions to defending the feudal dynasty.
