Reuniting with My Childhood Sweetheart and Helping Her Overcome Her Isolation

Gu Yichen and Lin Muxue had been childhood friends, and their families were very close. They grew up playing together, and Lin Muxue had loved being with Gu Yichen since she was little, clinging to him every day. They attended the same schools from elementary through high school, and both would get jealous whenever the other talked to someone of the opposite sex. Then, one day during their first year of high school, Gu Yichen left without a word. Lin Muxue had always been withdrawn, but afterward she became even more so, shutting herself away and cutting off almost all social contact. She had only a handful of friends. Then, in the second semester of her sophomore year, Gu Yichen came back and found her like this. Realizing that his departure had caused her to become so withdrawn, he set out to help her heal.
