But the relationship between uncle and nephew was at the end of the Tang Dynasty. Zhu Wen was just the king of Liang and had not yet proclaimed himself emperor. Zhu Wen could not be stronger than the Khitan. At most, they were on par with each other. Yelu Abaoji was even younger than Zhu Wen, but he was willing to call Zhu Wen his uncle? Moreover, Zhu Wen did not bring any considerable benefits to Khitan, so this relationship seemed a bit inexplicable and even illogical.
