Lin Xiuru was so furious that she spat blood all over the floor. A divorce agreement lay before her. Divorce might sound polite, but in truth it meant she had been cast out. Her sister-in-law from her maiden family could not stand her, but not because she was an embarrassment. The original owner of this body was so hateful she made people grind their teeth in anger! Her outrageous behavior would take three days and nights to recount.
To build her husband’s family a grand house with blue bricks and a tiled roof, she was willing to tear down the beams of her own family’s house.
To ensure her in-laws could eat and drink well, she stripped her parents of everything they had, threatening to cry, make a scene, and hang herself if they refused.
To fund her husband’s pursuit of an official degree, she acted like a rabid dog, forcing her nephew from her maiden family to quit school and making her family pay her husband’s tuition.
Such utterly deranged behavior was simply outrageous!
At last, her husband passed the county-level examination and became a licentiate. As for her, all she got was a mouthful of blood before she was divorced, or rather, cast out.
The body was hateful, but its contents had changed. Now that Lin Xiuru had accepted her new life here, she rolled up her sleeves and got to work. The more she worked, the richer she became, and the richer she became, the harder she worked. At long last, the salted fish had turned over...
It's very well written and very interesting, but I haven't had time to read it recently. I'll have a great time reading it when I finish my book.
The content is good, give it five stars.
