Azur Lane: The One Who Returned

[A story about finding your way back] [This book is dedicated to me, who loves Azur Lane, and to all of you]

Have you ever wondered? When the demands of real life force you to give up a game you once loved, have you ever thought about what happens to the girls who have grown used to waiting so long for their Commander to come back and see them? The boy they once knew gradually grew up, and the gaps between his visits grew longer and longer. Then one day, looking terribly worn out, he said a few words of apology and never came back. Just like that, the balance between the factions was broken. A lot happened over five years. Once-prosperous ports were reduced to ruins, and one shipgirl after another left. Commander, did you lose your way? If you’re feeling lost, come back and take a look. Everyone at the port is still waiting for you to return. Even if you feel worthless now, even if you’ve become a mess, they still long to see you again. Even if you don’t love them the way you used to, their love for you will never change, not until they sink.

And so, the one who had been missing for so long set out on the road home.
