A New Era of Liberation

An emperor who loves his people, yet cannot preserve his dynasty. His subjects are bullied by foreign powers, treated like helpless prey to be carved up. Should the nation remain at others' mercy, or become a power strong enough to dominate the world? Is it the age that has fallen behind, or the dynasty? How did a once-mighty world power come to such a sorry end?

Sealed off from the world and left behind, the nation suffers one defeat after another. The people awaken and rise against foreign invaders. See how a peasant from the lowest ranks leads his people into a new era.
