I, Fahai, finally understand. I was right. The White Snake deserved to die! Xu Xian deserved to die, too! I was far too kind back then. After emerging from a crab shell, Fahai wanted to question all the gods and Buddhas in Heaven and confirm his Dao. But he discovered that times had changed.
Even stranger, all the gods and Buddhas had vanished, as if they had never existed. Fahai lived through several different eras.
Demons that had once been insignificant nuisances could now wreak havoc in society.
While slaying demons, Fahai somehow returned to the world of Journey to the West, where the gods and Buddhas still existed.
Fahai wanted to question them, but he was dissatisfied with their answers. He was dissatisfied with this Journey to the West, too.
If that was the case, then he would make all the gods and Buddhas in Heaven his nourishment. In the future, there could be only one Buddha.
And that would be me, Fahai!
Such a beautiful book, why doesn't anyone read it?
