The Long March Livestream

I transmigrated into the snowy mountain unit that my grandfather served in during the Long March. Amidst the howling wind and snow, the little red soldiers crowd around my phone, shivering and sniffling. Watching me livestream with a mukbang blogger, they swallow hard and say, “Big sister, she sure makes that food look delicious!” In an instant, my fans flood the livestream with comments sending hot water, steamed buns, noodles… My comrades stare at me, dumbfounded. “Good heavens! Little comrade, did Buddha send you here to save us?” During an ambush in the snowy mountains, I stand on the ridge and shout at the Japanese soldiers, “The enemy’s just up ahead! Thanks to everyone for sending those giant rockets, cannons, and grenades…”
