There are 138 novels in the series about old characters in Sichuan, collectively called "Bashan, Shushui, Rivers and Lakes", divided into two parts: "Fantastic People of Bashu" and "Chronicles of Thieves in Sichuan". Emotionally speaking, "Bashan Shushui Jianghu" is my favorite, and it is also the manuscript that cost me the most effort. All of this is due to my father. I have said many times in my circle of friends that my father is a living map of the rivers and lakes in Bashan and Shu. He has many friends from all walks of life and often unscrupulously puts on some wild and wild dragon gate arrays. The world of our fathers is about love and hatred, as well as official affairs and banditry. Thieves and prostitutes, doctors and witches, sticks and swordsmen, monks, nuns and knights... I heard it so much that I had the idea of writing a book comparable to "Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio".
