After the Hostage Prince Dressed as a Woman, the Obsessive Emperor Fell for Him

A cunning, possessive gong x a gentle, soft-spoken shou

Rong Huai had spent more than ten years as a hostage in an enemy kingdom. He thought that once he endured one last year, he could return to his homeland. But the throne changed hands, leaving the hostage with nowhere to go.

With no one to turn to, Rong Huai tried to escape under cover of night, only to be caught by Qin Cheng, the esteemed Prince Cheng.

The night was bleak, and the red candles flickered.

Qin Cheng had long since become emperor. His nearly pathological possessiveness made him snarl into Rong Huai's ear, “You are never to leave my side.” Then, as if pleading, he said, “The throne is so cold. Keep me company. Stay by my side and be my empress. Never leave me.”

Rong Huai stroked his hair and looked at this man, supreme ruler of the empire yet so unbearably fragile. He answered softly, “All right.”

The palace was a square cage, and he was the canary kept inside it.

Rong Huai thought constantly of his homeland. He wanted to return to the capital, to see the lanterns lit at dusk and the plum blossoms that had yet to bloom.

✨Rong Huai: Brave and resourceful, he rises from hostage in an enemy kingdom to become an emperor's consort whose name will go down in history.

✨Qin Cheng: Possessive and deeply suspicious, he refuses to let Rong Huai go and wants him by his side after surviving the bloody struggle among nine princes for the throne.

?Both leads are smart, but the gong is one step ahead. The shou is still the weaker one!

?Political intrigue is the main plot.

?1v1, both leads are each other's one and only. Enjoy without worry.
