The male protagonist's persistence and madness also moved me very much. Just like Bai Zihua in "A Thousand Bones of Flowers", he would do anything for love. I'm looking forward to whether they can be together in the end, and I hope they can have a happy ending like He Yichen and Zhao Mosheng.
