Youth Against the Wind: Growing Wild

Volume One: Lost Youth

At 31, Cheng Miaomiao wrote the novel Facing the Wind, and overnight, she became a rising literary star under the pen name Si Xiaomiao. One month after the book went on sale, she received a text from an unfamiliar number.

“Cheng Miaomiao, it’s Li Si. Call me when you see this. I’ll be waiting.”

And so, at that moment, thirteen years of missed chances and longing finally came pouring out…

Volume Two: Reckless Youth

Facing the Wind sparks a wave of negative publicity. How will Cheng Miaomiao handle the PR crisis? Li Si has carefully planned a confession after their long-awaited reunion, but he is suddenly called back to the film set. How will his acting career move forward? How will these childhood friends finally speak honestly and confess their feelings to each other…

A note before we begin: This is a continuation that follows the plot, with childhood friends, mutual secret love, and no out-of-character behavior. It tells the beautiful love story of the popular beauty novelist Cheng Miaomiao and Li Si, a rising star who is about to become a leading actor.

Yes, to Cheng Miaomiao, Li Si is like water to a fish, or air to a person.

A fish can only swim freely in water. How can a person breathe without air?

If you are an oak, then I must be a kapok tree beside you, standing shoulder to shoulder with you as a tree.
