The CEO Pretends to Be Poor Every Day

[The essence of this novel’s style is laugh-out-loud absurdity and sheer silliness!!] [Super sweet!] [Not angsty at all!!]

[Adorable, cuddly, handsome-face-loving, and a little silly bottom] vs. [Gentle, soft-spoken, scheming, innocent-act top]

Lin Xianyu, 23.

President of the Lin Conglomerate, the young master of the Lin family, fabulously wealthy beyond compare.

One day, on a whim, he decided to pretend to be poor.

And then he met his “Cinderella”...

His “Cinderella” was a stunning beauty with white hair and violet eyes. His voice was gentle and soft, but he could be ruthless and vicious when he got physical. He looked as if a strong breeze could knock him over, but one touch revealed a solid eight-pack...

“I swear on my money: I’ve fallen in love with him. I want to be with him...”

.

Gu Zhi, president of VAL.

Unhappy with the match his family had arranged, he flew into a rage and decided to pretend to be poor.

Then he met Lin Xianyu, a good-looking little rascal who was never reliable, had an absurd, childish personality, and, to top it all off, thought he was unbelievably clever...

“This idiot is so ridiculous, probably no one but me could put up with him. I guess I’ll just have to like him a little...”

.

They both thought the other was poor.

So, to avoid hurting the other’s pride, they both kept pretending to be broke.

That is, until they showed up at the same aristocratic banquet...

And both died of embarrassment.

“Allow me to introduce the president of the Lin Conglomerate/VAL...”

“Weren’t you poor?” / “How the hell are you even richer than me?!”
