[Looks-Obsessed Sweetheart X Cool, Taciturn Top Student]

Chi Wu has always been hopelessly obsessed with good looks.

The first time she saw Chen Huaiyi, her heart fluttered and she fell in love at first sight.

The next time they met, Chi Wu happened to learn that Chen Huaiyi, the province's top student, had joined the first science lab class.

From then on, he had an “annoying pest” by his side every day.

“Chen, what kind of girl do you like? If you don't answer, I'll take that as you liking me.”

“Chen, you're so handsome, I feel insecure.”

“I wish I could put you in my pocket and take you home.”

Her nonstop chatter gave him a headache, leaving him both exasperated and helpless.

Everyone knew Chen Huaiyi as the untouchable beauty on his first day as a transfer student. He was cold and quiet, giving off an air that warned strangers to keep away.

But even an icy stone face can melt in the sun one day.

For example, when Chi Wu rises onto her tiptoes, wraps both arms around his neck, and brings her bright red lips close to his thin ones.

Their breath mingles, hot and close, stirring his heart.

“Do you know what I want to do?” The girl's every smile and frown is utterly captivating.

Chen Huaiyi gazes at her, his expression calm, and says nothing.

Little does she know that his hands hanging at his sides have curled into fists, and his palms have long since grown clammy.

Everyone at No. 3 High School knows that Chi Wu from Class Seven is chasing Chen Huaiyi.

As everyone wonders when Chi Wu will get tired of the top student, they start making bets.

Three months, one school break, half a year...

Chi Wu smiles and pulls out a few bright red bills. “There aren't enough devoted husbands around, so I'm betting my whole life.”

Everyone's smiles freeze.

She deliberately flirts with him in his world. He indulges her, his heart softening, until he finally falls for her.
