That night, Wen You, covered in blood and with red-rimmed eyes, knelt before him and pleaded humbly, “Mr. Shen, please help me~”
Seeing a face that looked seven-tenths like the woman he had once loved, Shen Siyan took her away and made her a stand-in for his beloved.
Later, his beloved returned to the country, and the stand-in was supposed to leave the stage.
With only half an hour until her flight took off, the man still managed to find her.
Using the hands he had bound to hold her in place against the headboard, Shen Siyan asked leisurely,
“Where do you think you're going?”
After her first escape attempt failed, Wen You was imprisoned in the villa, becoming a true caged bird with no freedom.
But Shen Siyan never imagined that Wen You's desire to escape had never gone away, and was only growing stronger.
One day, the small villa where she lived caught fire. After the flames were extinguished, all they found inside was a charred corpse beyond recognition.
Shen Siyan went mad.
Later, the mysterious singer Xi You burst onto the scene and swept up all the major awards.
They say her real name is Lin Weny You.
Shen Siyan hurried to see her, only to find her standing on the steps, one arm propped up as she asked with a faint, teasing smile,
“Sorry, Mr. Shen, do we know each other?”
