Traveling back in time to ancient times, some people were cultivating immortals and others were seeking human rights. As an ordinary person who couldn't cultivate, Zhang Huang just wanted to run a small canteen and live an ordinary life.
However, a childhood accident caused him to form a bond with the auspicious beast Bai Ze. Zhang Huang discovered that the dishes he cooked could speed up the monk's practice, and the monster flesh and blood he ate could strengthen his body.
Imagine a group of powerful monks who no longer want to eat stinky tofu, make hot pot, drink Coca-Cola, and show off instant noodles. Imagine again that the civil and military officials were quarreling in the court over whether the rice dumplings should be eaten sweet or salty.

Very well written.
I have read a lot of fantasy novels, and this was the first time I saw a monk caring about a few pennies.
The first part was pretty good, but I didn't watch the middle and later parts.
