Once, Sun Wukong, the Monkey King of Flower-Fruit Mountain, wreaked havoc in Heaven, throwing the celestial court into chaos. But after a shocking conspiracy, the Buddha Tathagata imprisoned him beneath Five Elements Mountain for five hundred years.
Five hundred years later, he thought that journeying west to fetch the scriptures would win him his freedom. Instead, he found himself caught in a game of power. During another fierce clash with the celestial court, Sun Wukong’s soul was injured and nearly scattered.
Yet the wheels of fate turned quietly. His soul transmigrated to the human world and took possession of Li Ming, an ordinary food delivery rider.
From then on, Li Ming’s life changed beyond recognition. Using Li Ming’s body, Sun Wukong rises step by step, displaying invincible power in the modern city. Together, they will not only make their legend in the human world, but return to Heaven, uncover the hidden truth behind it all, and avenge their humiliation!
