Beast Tide in the Apocalypse

Looking for Post-Apocalyptic Wasteland Novels with Ruthless, Decisive Leads and Solid Logic

Wasteland settings caused by plague, nuclear radiation, or a touch of alternate dimensions. One female lead or no female lead, with a group of brothers and sisters who have been through life and death together. No System or golden finger. The male lead comes from the bottom of society, is a crafty survivor, and undergoes genetic evolution. He has no plans to save the world.
