I'm the Senior Most in the Ming Dynasty, and My Father-in-Law Is Zhu Chongba

[No golden finger + grounded and well-researched + often courts women + occasional battles + kind of funny, apparently]

Protagonist: I'm the son-in-law of Chongba, good at war and fond of seducing beauties. My banner stands through eight dynasties and six emperors, leading the Great Ming across two oceans.

Zhao Hui, a strikingly handsome city gate official, is chosen by Zhu Di to marry into the imperial family and wed Baqing, Zhu Yuanzhang's youngest daughter.

He originally planned to play the part of a son-in-law who lived off the imperial family and waited to die. But as fate would have it, he became a renowned general instead.

He fought the monkeys in Jiaozhi

and chased Esen across the desert.

He helped Zheng He discover Australia

and sent a kangaroo to duel the Fort-building Emperor.

Here are interviews with the main cast:

Zhu Yuanzhang: I don't know anything. I died a few months after the protagonist was born.

Zhu Yunwen: I don't know either. The protagonist was still a child, and Nanjing had already fallen.

Zhu Di: You little rascal, make sure you support my son.

Zhu Gaochi: Uncle, my son Zhu Zhanji is in Nanjing. Please escort him north to take the throne.

Zhu Zhanji: Great-uncle, I'm entrusting my son Zhu Qizhen to you. Remember to pacify the northern deserts. I'll be going on ahead.

Empress Dowager Sun: What's going on? Is my son going abroad to study after all?

Zhu Qizhen: What? Emperors aren't allowed to study abroad? Who says?

Zhu Qiyu: Great-uncle... How can I sit while you stand?

Protagonist: Your Majesty, sit down and talk.

Zhu Jianshen: Great-uncle... I don't even know what to call you anymore. You're the senior here, so you speak first.

Protagonist: I really wish I could live another five hundred years...

The grasslands, the Western Regions, the South Seas, Kangaroo Island, the Indochinese Peninsula, Japan, and the Americas: Help! No, please!
