My name is Zhong Shier. It’s a strange name, because I was born with the fate of a ghost. The King of Hell marked my name on his roster, and every twelve years, a ghostly bailiff comes to claim my life.
But I survived the first twelve years because my grandfather saved me.
I thought I’d make it through the next twelve years too, but my grandfather died before I even grew up.
The next twelve-year deadline is fast approaching, but I’ve stopped caring so much. What matters more to me is finding out who killed my grandfather.
I have no choice but to inherit his profession: the Ghost Doctor.
I, Zhong Shier,
swear to defy fate and change my destiny!
