(First time trying to write a book review)
The perspective is unique, the characters are vivid, and the language is concise and powerful. It is different from the official, but full of charm.
Remus Lupine is a gentle, inferior and good-tempered image in most fan works, but the original Remus written by the author is more irritable and aggressive, unique and real. The portrayals of James Potter, Sirius Black, Peter Pedro and others are also vivid, distinctive and charming. For example, the awkward guilt of several people after bullying Snape too much enriches the character's image. The closer relationship between Remus and Sirius was somewhat beyond my expectation, breaking my personal impression that "all the Marauders are centered on James", but judging from the character's personality and acting style, it is very natural, reasonable and shows the author's unique understanding and precise positioning of the character's characteristics.
The novel is narrated from Remus' perspective, novel and unique, showing a magical world that is not limited to "relaxing and happy" campus life. Some private settings in the article add many twists and conflicts to the novel. For example, Remus Lupin's experience in a children's home and his dyslexia greatly enrich the content of the novel. However, these settings make Remus Lupine lose the support and love for Remus Lupine from Lyle and Hope (Lupin's parents) in the official settings, which will be a big "lightning point" in this book.
