On set, take two:

“I asked you to make a martial arts film. What is this?”

Chen Xia: “It is a martial arts film. The title says it all: The Seven Scoundrels Descend from Heaven Mountain!”

“Why are there only five swords?”

Chen Xia: “One of the swords is called Wu Liuqi…”

Scene three:

“I told you to respect the original. Why didn’t you change a single word?”

“It says ‘a dragon among men,’ not ‘a dragon in the middle of a man.’ What is wrong with you?”

Chen Xia: “You told me to respect the original. How is keeping every word wrong?”

“…”

Audience: Director! We’ll behave, just please go easy on us!
