I'm Just a Hunter

Jiu Li, the foremost of the Seven Saints of the Human Race, was the guardian deity of the Human Realm.

The news that his son, Jiu Chen, had been born caused a sensation across the Nine Realms. Born with an inherited spiritual meridian, the boy was destined for boundless glory!

Unexpectedly, during Jiu Chen’s full-month celebration, the Jiu family in Weiyang City was attacked by a hundred alien races led by the demon beasts, spirits, and netherworld clans.

At just one month old, Jiu Chen suffered a devastating blow and died on the spot before everyone’s eyes.

After the battle, Jiu Li and his wife vanished without a trace!

Jiu Chen, however, quietly awoke inside a mysterious grand formation, only to find his spiritual meridian severed and his inheritance gone. He had become an ordinary mortal.

When he was a boy, his adoptive parents were brutally killed as sacrifices by mountain bandits. To avenge them, he ventured alone into the mountains to seek immortals and the Dao.

When he first entered the sect, he got caught up in the excitement of watching the action and was forced into a fight to the death. After his opponent sabotaged him, he survived against all odds, reconnected his broken meridian, and emerged transformed, rising anew from ruin!

And so began his path to immortality through beast taming...
