Yang Xiaoyu, a pampered young woman, went to the countryside to teach. She planned to spend two peaceful years there, secure a teaching position, and then enjoy the happy life she'd always dreamed of. But then a shameless fellow teacher began harassing her at every turn. To prevent future trouble, Yang Xiaoyu, who had been single for 21 years, took the initiative and got close to the principal's nephew, who worked at the local police station. He was 185 centimeters tall, and, as Yang Xiaoyu put it, once he put on his police uniform, it was hard to find anyone more handsome.
From then on, Yang Xiaoyu treated him like a talisman, thinking that once her two years of teaching were over, she'd never see him again. But the man had no intention of letting things go her way. After what happened, she still wanted to run? Run where?
Yang Xiaoyu: I wasn't planning to run. It's just that your gorgeous, sexy ex-girlfriend is back. Aren't you going to go find her?
Du Chenglong: Who told you I wanted to find her?
I like the most natural, sweet and real interaction between the male and female protagonists. This is not a novel that tramples the reader's intelligence. Good.
It's worth appreciating. When I read the introduction, I thought it was another novel that was miles away from the facts and would trample the audience's IQ. But that was not the case. It was quite good, especially the descriptions of the rural school environment and education, which were very real. The inner descriptions of the characters are detailed and realistic. Thorough logic!
