Hongwu: Is That Ruler of Yours Actually Proper?

I have two rulers. The heavy one is bladeless, forged in blue flame, and can split mountains and crack rocks. The flexible one changes shape at will, hard or soft. It measures the depths of women’s hearts and breaks through every obstacle, leaving nothing beyond its reach. Zhu Yuanzhang: “How much? What did you say? Rice in Tianzhu can be harvested three times a year?” Zhu Yuanzhang: “Historian, quickly! Search the history books for me, from ancient times to the present. You must find a conflict between Tianzhu and Huaxia.” Historian: “Your Majesty, according to the history books of Goryeo, they once conquered our Tang dynasty, forcing Emperor Taizong, Li Shimin, to kneel and beg for mercy. They even shot out one of his eyes.” Zhuang Shisan: “Your Majesty, I hear Japan is rich in gold and silver. Should we go take some?”
