(Note: As the title suggests, all the protagonists in this book are girls.)
The DMVC organization began as a group dedicated to treating the wounded and building prosthetic limbs for them during World War II.
During the war, a riot destroyed its laboratory. The virus inside mutated amid the fighting, producing a new strain.
After the war, the DMVC board broke free of military control and became a completely independent secret organization. They discovered that the mutated strain included a controllable variant. After a series of meetings, the directors decided to turn the virus into an assassination weapon capable of controlling the world. They sent all the viruses to DMVC’s top experimental facility, Mechanical City, intending to test them on human subjects.
Just as everything was about to succeed, all the test subjects in the facility revolted…

A blue-haired girl rises from the war-torn ruins, drawing a gleaming cold blade and a blazing flame blade. Bullets and thick smoke surge across the sky, while the backlit shadows enfold her body.
She looks down at the silver-haired girl kneeling on the ground, sobbing uncontrollably, and softly gives her final instructions: “Ying, promise me you’ll get them all out of here…”
