[Black history, don't read it]
When she was fourteen years old, Song Li was diagnosed with depression, and the fortune teller said she would not live to be eighteen.
At the age of sixteen, she met Ye Guinan for the first time. She heard that he had beaten people and had good grades, but he was very vicious. When they first met, he was as cold as a mountain white lotus. He was born with a sense of alienation, but occasionally he would smile at her as though she were there.
Song Li found that she seemed to have a crush on him.
She likes to call him Nannan, and he seems to like it too.
"He was just as lonely as I was, and we just kind of hooked up."
On her seventeenth birthday, the boy held the cake and kneaded her into his arms. His voice was low and hoarse, and the look in his eyes was unbelievably gentle.
"Do you like me?"
"I like it."
She nodded blankly, feeling as if she had all the happiness in the world. They met to attend the same university. But Song Li broke her promise.
Six years later, they met again unexpectedly. The boy he used to be was now the intimidating Ye Ye. His eyebrows were sharp, but they turned soft the moment he saw her.
But the girl back then was alone. She lived six more years, but only six more years.
Ye Guinan: "I'm back, do you miss me?"
Song Li: "I think about it. I think about it every day."
"Start over?"
"Yeah. But I'm afraid... I can't catch it anymore."
The night before the wedding, she broke her promise again.
In the singing competition in her sophomore year of high school, in the yellowed class photo, she stood in the corner, the corners of her mouth raised slightly, smiling sweetly. At the end of her eyes, the young man curled his lips and smiled slightly, and he was also looking at her.
