Hello, Summertime

Lin Sheng vs. Cheng Daiyi

When Lin Sheng was seven, Cheng Daiyi stared wide-eyed and looked him over from head to toe.

When Lin Sheng was seventeen, Cheng Daiyi blushed and looked him over from head to toe all over again.

When Lin Sheng was twenty-seven, he deliberately brought himself right under Cheng Daiyi's nose, only to be chased out the door with an eye roll.

A domineering, controlling male lead vs. an adorable, clear-headed female lead

Other: Who knows how far I'll get or who else will show up. That's none of my business.

The basic story is childhood sweethearts growing up together and supporting each other. A relationship like this needs a second male lead, right?

The plot and tropes are old, but that won't stop me from wanting to write, write, write!
