This story follows Mi Hang, a fifteen-year-old boy who is a top student but has grown tired of school because of his addiction to mobile games, often clashing with his parents. He later transmigrates thirty years into the past, to the 1990s, and relives the academic journey his father, Mi Zheng, once took. With determination and a positive attitude, he works hard and endures every hardship, paving a bright road for his father’s education... He experiences his father’s middle school years, high school years, university years, and career, all the way through to his parents’ marriage. He spends ten years in his father’s era, witnessing how difficult his father’s growth and success were. Just as he is born, he transmigrates back to the present: the story of a disillusioned boy’s growth into a bright, ambitious young man.
