After transmigrating, Zhuang Qingru thought she was in for a carefree life. But after a dream, she glimpsed a miserable future, and all thoughts of better days vanished. Gritting her teeth, she resolved to defy fate and change her destiny. She refused to believe life couldn’t get better!
Lu Huai, a young gentleman of the Lu family, was frail and sickly. He had grand ambitions but lacked the strength to pursue them. Everyone said he wouldn’t live long. Then he met a woman named Zhuang Qingru, and learned that Heaven could be fair after all: there was someone who had come into the world for him.
Before meeting her, he prayed to live until thirty. After meeting her, he wanted to live until sixty: the first twenty years for his parents, the next twenty for his country, and the last twenty to grow old by her side.
May you always be safe, and may joy find you often.
This is the third novel by the author that I have read. It is good-looking and the plot is exciting. It is also connected with the previous book Dali Temple. I like it.
Unconventional, I like it
Looking at it now, sometimes the names are wrong when they come out, but the logical relationship is quite strict.
The writing is very good and delicate
Good-looking, good-looking, good-looking, good-looking
Not bad 👌. Highly readable
