The Ultimate Courtyard Compound: Going Wild to Make a Fortune

[Period setting + crowded courtyard compound + gossip + face-slapping + getting rich] Liu Xiaoling, an assassin from the apocalypse, transmigrates to the 1970s after failing a mission. From the start, both her parents are dead, her taciturn husband has no household registration, and their home has been ransacked. The original owner was a timid orphan. The residents of the crowded courtyard envied her for having two rooms and a job at the machinery factory. They resorted to one bizarre trick after another, even egging Liu Xiaoling on to divorce and find another man in the compound. Since she has inherited the original owner's body, Liu Xiaoling will protect her property for her. She takes on the black-hearted widow, the pompous old man, the gossiping aunties, and the petty factory boss, then dumps her useless husband. If they rub her the wrong way, she'll kill them all! (The heroine is exceptionally strong.) She thought her husband, Gu Xudong, was timid and taciturn, but it turns out he's been playing dumb to fool everyone. The couple team up, and together they take the whole courtyard by storm!
