After Becoming the Male Lead in a Regretful Ex-Wife Novel

I was the male lead in a story where the heroine regrets losing her man.

At first, she betrayed and tormented me. Later, she chased after me, desperate to win me back.

One day, she knelt in the street, kowtowing and begging me to take her back until her forehead was bleeding.

My heart softened, so I brought her inside. But that night, while I was asleep, she hacked me to death.

She said, “I’ll teach you to act so high and mighty and ignore me. Die!”

When I opened my eyes again, I was back on the day she came begging for me to take her back.
