[Overpowered progression, ensemble cast, taking disciples under his wing (and forming bonds)]
Lin Chu transmigrated into the world of immortal cultivation years ago. Through his own hard work, he became the senior disciple of Wenxian Sect, the foremost immortal sect. The sect poured resources into him, his junior brothers and sisters adored him, and his fame spread far and wide after he took first place on the Young Qilin Ranking. But Lin Chu reformed the rules and interfered too much in sect affairs in an effort to benefit the disciples, provoking the elders of the various peaks and the Sect Master. They forced him to swallow a Devouring Immortal Pill, crippled his cultivation, and expelled him from the sect.
Lin Chu thought his life was over and that he would never again set foot on the path to immortality. But after all those years, he finally activated a Destiny System that let him form bonds with others. He could gain the destinies of those connected to him, and their cultivation would in turn feed back into his own.
[Natural Divine Strength (Gold)], [Reincarnated Sword Immortal (Gold)], [The Bearing of an Empress (Gold)], [Seed of the Dao (Gold)], [Buddha’s Heart (Gold)], one destiny after another now belonged to him.
Only then did the world realize that Lin Chu had become invincible!
And he wasn’t the only one. His maid could shatter mountains with one punch. His adopted son could hold the rivers and mountains at bay with a single spear, charge into the Northern Wastelands with a hundred cavalrymen, and win glory on the battlefield. The young attendant at his side opened the gates of heaven with one sword at the Immortal Sect Tournament, leaving every prodigy humbled. Even the Southern Border Empress declared that she would marry no one but him!
One day, the ancient rift sealed by Wenxian Sect broke through its barrier, and the two demon gods returned. Lin Chu was the only one in the world capable of standing against them. The Sect Master and elders knelt and begged him to seal the rift. Lin Chu acted, killing both demon gods outright, then said with a faint smile, “Seal it? Why bother? Now that the demons are wiped out, there’s no need for Wenxian Sect to exist either.”
The Sect Master: “Are you going to attack the innocent sect disciples too?”
Lin Chu: “Sect disciples? They’re all under my wing now!”
