I had just learned that I was a cat, and could only rely on a worldly little child for company. The child's name is Wu Wei. On her first trip out of the valley, she lost her older sister, and often says astonishing things.
Though she calls herself a divine cat, she's frail and weak. Luckily, each dream grants her a special ability. Of course, the dreams aren't merely dreams, and the abilities aren't quite what they seem. For example, the ability from her third dream only works on Yan Tan. And Yan Tan is a good-for-nothing in the eyes of the world, and often boasts about her aunt, whose martial arts are the best under heaven.
Survival is hard, so food comes first. We never let good food go to waste, and we're lucky to have plenty to eat.
Suspicion hangs thick in the air, with countless threads to unravel. We don't even realize we're caught up in the plot, and everyone we meet is more than they seem.
It all has to do with a pair of similar jade pendants, and a conspiracy years in the making is gradually coming to light.
The mantis stalks the cicada, while the oriole waits behind. Who will have the last laugh? Can we escape danger unscathed?
