The Little Tavern on the Outskirts of Yanchao

The story takes place in Yanjiao, on the outskirts of Beijing, at a guesthouse and leisure bar called "Yan Chao Jiao Wai." The owner, Sun Yuening, is a sharp, capable Beijinger who runs the business, whose fortunes fluctuate, with a handful of employees and regulars, each with very different personalities. The guesthouse welcomes travelers from all over, while also serving as a social hub with its bar. Comical incidents and interpersonal conflicts unfold one after another.
