Twin Beauties is a series blending court intrigue with mythology. It tells the story of twin sisters Tushan Ya and Tushan Wen, who switch identities and seek revenge. Tushan Ya was the rightful heir to the fox clan, but her ambitious younger sister, Tushan Wen, betrayed her and took everything from her. During five years in exile, Tushan Ya built up her strength and resolved to take revenge. She cleverly navigates life in the palace, exposes her sister's schemes, and strives to reclaim her reputation and status.
Su Le, king of the fox clan, has a complicated relationship with Tushan Wen, yet knows nothing of Tushan Ya's true identity. As the story unfolds, Su Le begins to suspect Tushan Wen. His instincts tell him that the woman before him is not the one he loves. With Tushan Ya subtly guiding him, Su Le gradually gets closer to the truth. Unaware of each other's intentions, the two begin working together to uncover Tushan Wen's true nature.
In the final showdown, Tushan Ya successfully exposes Tushan Wen's plot, stripping her of her power and status. After learning the truth, Su Le joins forces with Tushan Ya to confront Tushan Wen and restore Tushan Ya's reputation and standing. The story ends with Tushan Ya and Su Le ruling the fox clan together and ushering in a new chapter, while leaving the door open for what comes next.
