The Wilds Realm

[Classical Xianxia, Primordial World Fantasy]

Set against the backdrop of the Primordial World, this novel depicts a vast and uncanny realm. Demons speak, beasts gain sentience, and all manner of rare treasures pass from hand to hand, while members of many heretical sects covet them. At this moment, the orthodox faith is steadily declining, unable to protect the world. As yin grows strong and yang wanes, the world falls into ruin, becoming a furnace in which all living beings are laid upon the chopping block.

When the stars are out of alignment and even gods and Buddhas are powerless, a rebellious child cursed by magic appears out of nowhere. Born with a crippling chill and unable to speak, he is considered worthless by the world. Yet he refuses to fall into ruin. He enters Buddhism and comprehends the Dao, becoming an immortal demon. When the wheel of fate rolls across the mortal world and he returns to the Three Realms, the murky world has grown clear. Only then do all beings learn that he has been reborn as a peerless War God. But who could understand the resentment and despair of his unwilling return to the west tens of thousands of years ago?

In this world, are the gods the ones who save all living beings?

Or are the demons?
