"The Distant Savior" is the original work of the TV series "The Way of Heaven". It tells the story of Ding Yuanying, a business geek who works for a private equity company in Germany. He uses his extraordinary means to invest funds raised from Germany into the Chinese stock market and uses "cultural codes" to crazily plunder China's money. Later, he realizes his conscience and quits the company, but quitting is punishable. For this, he paid a painful price. All his dividends were frozen, and he was even so poor that he ate instant noodles every day. When I returned to the ancient city to "live in seclusion", I met Rui Xiaodan, a female criminal police member who grew up in Frankfurt and now serves in the ancient city's criminal police team.
