A False Forbidden Romance

[Male lead steals the bride + second male lead chases his wife + mutually devoted]

[Sweet on the outside, scheming heiress + wild, unruly troublemaker + rekindled romance]

The second young miss of the Cheng family wanted to be the city's most eligible woman and steal her sister's elite marriage match. Gentle and dignified in public, she held grudges and always got even in private.

Then, on the eve of the wedding, her sister betrayed her by sleeping with her fiancé. On the wedding day, a man single-handedly ruined the ceremony.

The wild boy she'd met during a charity trip to the countryside had traded his Zhongshan suit and lantern pants for the finery of a pampered young master. He brazenly pinned her against a door at the wedding venue and said, “Little mistress, you look beautiful today. Let's elope.”

Her own brother was waiting outside for her to get married. He Qichuan said, “Why are you looking at me? He's your husband. Shouldn't you do something about him?”

She tried reasoning with him, but He Qichuan said, “I don't understand. I want to kiss you.”

Her brother frantically banged on the door. He Qichuan said, “Let's kiss a little longer and make him wait.”

The wedding was ruined, her brother lost his mind, and her grandfather flew into a rage. But He Qichuan flirted with her in front of everyone, staking his claim: “I want it all, her and the position of heir.”

Her brother grabbed her hand, eyes red as he begged, “Yueyue, I love you. You love me too, don't you? Don't go with her.”

He Qichuan sneered. “You love her? Then why are you tangled up with her sister?”
