Don't Learn Magic from the English

Step into a mysterious, fantastical world of magic.

In 19th-century England, magic exists only in theory. No one has ever truly witnessed it. Eldrick Thorne, the only practical magic user, yearns to monopolize magical knowledge and put it to use for the good of his country. Evan Ashford, Thorne's apprentice, is instead drawn to adventure and the exploration of forbidden magic. Their partnership grows from friendship into opposition. As their views on magic diverge, they become entangled in dangerous conspiracies and an ancient world of magic.
