Why Save the Great Song? I, Huo Qubing, Will Crush Our Enemies and Restore the Han

[Decisive and ruthless]+ [Making up for past regrets]

The great Han dynasty war god Huo Qubing is reborn during the Jingkang humiliation of the Northern Song.

His new identity is that of a spineless princess's husband in a fallen dynasty. He is on the verge of death, and even his wife has been abducted by the Jin army.

As a time-limited cheat bestowed by heaven, this time he has a spear that lets him absorb the lifespans of treacherous ministers he kills.

From then on,

he will fight the enemy nations the Song dares not face, rescue the princesses the Song dares not save, and kill the calamity-bringing emperors of the Song.

He recruits capable ministers, gathers mighty armies, eliminates traitors and takes their lives, then strikes straight at the enemy's heart.

Along the way, Huo Qubing comes to see more and more clearly that the Song court is beyond saving.

On the eve of his campaign to Mount Langjuxu, Zhao Gou sends him twenty-four golden summons in a row.

Huo Qubing flies into a rage and leads his troops south:

“Why save that worthless Song dynasty?! I might as well rebuild the mighty Han myself!”
