We walked into the ancient tomb cautiously, and a smell of decay hit our nostrils. The internal structure is intricate and the passages are narrow and winding, like a huge maze. The walls are made of huge stones, with oil lamps emitting a faint light hung on them. The lights flicker in the darkness, causing the surrounding shadows to constantly change, as if countless ghosts are hidden.
The ground under your feet is paved with stone slabs. From time to time, a cold air comes out from the gaps between the stone slabs, making people feel cold on the soles of their feet. There are caves at regular intervals on both sides of the passage. There are some ancient statues placed in the cave. These statues have different shapes, some are human-shaped, some are animal-shaped, but without exception, their faces are distorted, as if they are suffering from great pain.
Continuing deeper, we came to a spacious tomb chamber. The top of the tomb is a huge dome, inlaid with countless gems that sparkle faintly, like stars in the night sky. However, these lights looked particularly eerie and made people shudder.
Rows of stone pillars are arranged around the tomb, and the stone pillars are carved with various mysterious symbols and patterns, as if telling ancient secrets. Between the stone pillars, there are huge murals hanging. The murals depict bloody sacrificial scenes and terrifying monsters. The pictures are so lifelike that it makes people feel like they are immersed in them.
