Song of Defiance

Born with the heaven-defying “Mystic Bone” of Renegade Immortal cultivation, he has his spiritual root severed with a single stroke by a reborn woman, who calls him “born contrary.”

He rebels against sects, against cultivation, against all the living beings of the continent...

Seeking the truth, searching for himself, and unraveling the mystery of his “contrary bone,” he rebels at every turn.

In the end, he slays the Immortal Ancestor, destroys the sects, wipes out the entire lineage of cultivation, and restores peace and clarity to the world of mortals.

At last, he hears again the daughter’s song he so often heard in his dreams...
