After twenty-eight years of bad luck, Manman went out to find food on an utterly ordinary rainy day. As expected, she slipped and landed hard on her backside. Then something suddenly fell from the sky and struck her on the head. At last, the relentlessly unlucky life of Manman came to an even unluckier end. Just before her consciousness faded, though, she seemed to hear a “zzzt... zzzt... zzzt...” sound.
