(This book has a slower pace, an invincible protagonist, and a lighthearted tone. There is NO female lead!!! The protagonist fights using all kinds of mechanized plants modified by his younger brother, He An.)
(The first three chapters are a bit long, so bear with me.)
On the eve of the Awakening Ceremony, He An confesses to He Xiu: “I’m done pretending. I’m a transmigrator with a System.”
At the Awakening Ceremony, He Xiu awakens an unprecedented Plant Compendium that lets him summon plants with all sorts of abilities.
Under the System’s insistent demands, He An is forced to help He Xiu modify plants, becoming a miserable contractor.
He Xiu: “Wouldn’t it be more useful in battle if the Pea Soldiers were smaller and moved faster?”
He An: “I’ve got an idea. Want to give it a try?”
A pistol modified from a Pea Soldier is added to He Xiu’s Plant Compendium.
He Xiu: “It’d be great if the Sunflowers could automatically collect the sun crystals they produce, then absorb them whenever I use up my magic power.”
He An: “I think we could do it like this…”
A pair of Sunflower combat gloves that automatically replenish stamina and magic power appears in He Xiu’s Compendium.
He Xiu: “If these plants could fuse with one another, wouldn’t their power increase dramatically?”
He An: “I can handle that.”
A Sunflower-Core Nuclear Armageddon Mushroom blooms on the battlefield of another world.
He Xiu: “What if…”
His opponents: “Shut your mouth! No more ‘what ifs’!!”
He An: “Psst, big brother, have you ever heard of Gundam?”
He Xiu stares at the towering plant Gundam behind He An and drools…
This is a very good book. Why am I so cold when reading it here? Am I stuck?
