Forty years ago, they wanted to escape the village. Forty years later, they wanted to return. What had they gone through? As the times changed, every decision made by ordinary people seemed so ridiculous. Back then, the people who suffered most were those who never made it out. Now, the most pitiful are those who can’t go back. Torn between leaving and returning, they have already lived through half a lifetime in the blink of an eye! Memories of their distant hometown are sometimes hazy, sometimes vivid. Its stories seemed ordinary at the time, but now they read like something out of a fantasy. The bright moon still shines over the village entrance, but the people from back then are long gone. I tried to find the person I used to be, only to discover that my memories had become tiny sparks that could go out at any moment!
