The protagonist, A Ning, has been alone and struggling since childhood, living in the mountains with three dogs. By chance, she saves the wolf demon Mo Yan, the male lead. Later, when Mo Yan is captured, the demonic energy within A Ning is unleashed, revealing her origins: she is the child of an immortal and a demon, an existence that neither Heaven nor Earth can tolerate. She is captured and meant to be used to seal the Demon-Suppressing Stone, but escapes and joins her companions to defy fate and save all living beings.
